Google Data Studio is taking the analytics and performance marketing industry by storm. Many of our clients use a combination of different tools in their marketing stack and Data Studio is increasingly the preferred go to platform when it comes to data visualisation and BI tools.
We recently published a connector for Google Data Studio which connects all your marketing data from all your channels into one place, runs multitouch attribution and provides you insights.
Note to existing customers: While the active optimization components in the Windsor.ai platform such as the campaign and bid optimiser will not be available in Data Studio, visualisation of all the underlying data is fully supported.
Here are the steps on how to connect all your marketing data from Google, Facebook, Bing, LinkedIn, DoubleClick, Outbrain, Criteo, … to Google Data Studio
Log in to the Setup and Configuration Portal, connect your data sources and retrieve your username and token
Note: If you have any questions about connecting your data you might find this how-to useful
Add a new data source in Google Data Studio
Enter your API name and API key from Step 1 into Username and Token respectively
Note: It’s best to use [your-name]_attributions_and_costs. If you want to know more about the tables availabe and their definition, you can find a list of all the tables and their definitions here.
Select the filtering criteria for the data loading. This is only recommended for larger data sets (>200’000 rows).
To get you started in Google Data Studio easily you can find a Multichannel Marketing Attribution Dashboard here.
